Zati Sharip
Dr. Zati Sharip is a senior researcher at the National Water Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM) and has led the lake and reservoir researches since 2007. She is also a member of the Academy of Science Malaysia Water Committee and Associate Editor of the Modeling Earth Systems and Environment Journal. She completed her PhD in Environmental Engineering and Plant Biology at the University of Western Australia, Australia, focusing ecosystem processes in a tropical lake. With more than 20 years of experiences in limnological studies of tropical lakes, reservoirs, and wetlands, her expertise and research interests include hydro-ecological and hydro-biological studies in freshwater ecosystems.
