Franz D. Santos
Franz is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Civil Engineering, University of the Philippines Diliman, with interests in hydrology and hydraulics and extensive experience in both field data gathering and monitoring as well as numerical modelling. He has served as a field hydrologist and modeller for national-scale water projects, contributing to assessments on flood risk, watershed characterization, estuarine hydrodynamics, and environmental flows in the Philippines. A licensed civil and sanitary engineer, Engr. Santos is also involved in research on sediment transport and water quality, supporting integrated water resource management for energy projects.
