Dr. Haijun Wang, Professor of Ecology, Doctoral Supervisor. Deputy Director of the Institute for Ecological Research and Pollution Control of Plateau Lakes, Yunnan University. Deputy Director of the School of Ecology and Environmental Sciences, Yunnan University. Director of the Key Laboratory for Ecological Protection and Resource Utilization of River-Lake Networks in Yunnan Province, Yunnan University. Chairholder of the UNESCO Ecotechnie Chair at Yunnan University. He serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, including Inland Waters, The Innovation, and Freshwater Biology. His research area is quite broad, including lake eutrophication, aquatic biodiversity (fish, macrophyte, and zoobenthos), ecotoxicology of cyanotoxin and nitrogen exposure, ecological effects of hydrological connectivity changes.
