Fields of expertise: Project management, Integrated Lake Basin Management, Governance improvement, Forest restoration, Community development, Environmental education and Communication. I had coordinated 83 projects (including research, planning, implementation and evaluation) among them the Ramsar Management Program for Lake Chapala (2010), the Latin American Lake Briefs (2019-2021) and the IKI-Living Lakes Biodiversity and Climate (Mexico project, 2019-2024), directed to develop Nature-based solutions on productive corridors around three natural protected areas.
I'm currently a member of the International Lake Environment Committee Foundation's Scientific Committee and Executive Director of the Corazon de la Tierra Institute (Mexico).
