Inta Dimante-Deimantovica
I am a freshwater ecologist with expertise in ecological monitoring, water habitat restoration, and microcrustacean taxonomy. I have spent the past seven years leading research on microplastic pollution in freshwater and marine ecosystems. I have eestablished a research group and now I am leading the Microplastic Laboratory at LHEI, coordinating international projects and national monitoring activities. My expertise also covers project design, fieldwork planning and conducting in Arctic, work with policymakers and citizen science initiatives.
